Just some thing i have been toying with Lost (She's always on my mind) On the swings, Through the playground of my past Behind the tree, first kiss I solve the question of my emptiness. Only one wish, I hold Solemn and told That our love outlast me, This carving in the tree. Her face, divine taste I pray I never fall from grace Her gentle touch, Never thought I could miss her this much. Laying on the wet grass, Recounting all things passed, Joys and sorrows, all like dreams Tales of happiness and despair, for it seems No one knows, never will, The love you instill, Into this hollow boy Coy of mine, for all of the time, She’s always on my mind. Laughter and tears, Voices of friends dear Still not my rearing mind And all of this time, She’s always on my mind. Gone and out of this life, Taken away from me, in strife No more host am I, Except, to your ghost. Where love dwells, Now only grief swells Gone and away, I had no say, I had no say! Dreams of the past, Never last, Only memories of time spent, Together, but apart I relent No more blue skies, Or softly spoken lies Gone and out of sight, But not out of mind, despite my twilight. Even though, memories are all, I still can hear your call. Somewhere down the line, will meet again. But for this time, She’s always on my mind. ----------------------------- Thanks for you time in reading the products of my twisted mind. |

Excellent poem! Wonderful! ...Daysleeper... "We prefer to do things comfortably" said the Controller. "But I don't want comfort. I want God, I want poetry, I want real danger, I want freedom, I want goodness. I want sin." "In fact," said Mustapha Mond, "you're claiming the right to be unhappy." "Alright then," said the Savage defiantly, "I'm claiming the right to be unhappy." -Aldous Huxley "Brave New World" |

It's always hard to lose love. I hope writing this helped you. Welcome to Passions, though! I hope you enjoy it here! "We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars." -Oscar Wilde |
