There is no on calling me on the phone. Everyone is out with someone else- their boyfriends, girlfriends, or close friends. Where am I in all this mess? Am I not important? Or am I just forgotton by all? ~Kristi Lynn |

Gina~ Thank you for being such a sweetie. You're phone rings~ every time I call you're on the other line... Usually with James, too... Anyhoo, I'd rather find someone on my own. I know the unmentioned name- Grady- and I still hope he'll see past what didn't happen and be friends someday... Lizzie~ I'm soooooooooooooooooo sorry!!! I have to find you're e-mail address soon... your poem is a simple statement of reality to me. clearly, it describes your situation, as well as my own. i have my friends as im sure you do. but where are they now? i seem to be overly neglected. i believe there is a higher purpose for souls such as you and i. a purpose that requires our time and energy. a purpose that demands and will not allow us to dedicate our efforts otherwise, as though it were alive and envious, crying "if i cant have you noone can." perhaps one day, all that are left out will realize their destiny and fulfill it. then will we recognize the importance of our absence from the time consuming and energy wasting activities partaken of by those of the lesser calling. are we really forgotten?... |

hey Kristi! i won't forget you....i actually haven't been on netpoets for a couple of days....and when i haven't been on for a while i skim down the list first to read poetry by certain people...and in actual fact...swear to God on this...i was skimming down just then searching for your work! so you are far from unappreciated! i used to feel how you do...but then i stopped relying on my friends and family to make my life sociable and interesting...i went out by myself...yes litte 'ole me ventured into the big bad world in which i only went into with company...and by myself i met new people, experienced new things and realised all the things i had limited myself to. as they say "the world is your oyster" cheer up and smile <<<SMILEY! Bec i never thought i'd die alone, i laughed the loudest who'd have known? i traced the cord back to the wall, no wonder it was never plugged in at all i took my time, i hurried up the choice was mine i didn't think enough I'm too depressed to go on, you'll be sorry when i'm gone I never conquered, rarely came 16 just held such better days Days when i still felt alive, we couldn't wait to get outside The world was wide, too late to try The tour was over i'd survived I couldn't wait till i got home, to pass the time in my room alone I never thought i'd die alone, another six months I'll be unknown Give all my things to my friends, you'll never set foot in my room again You'll close it off, board it up Remember the time i spilled the cup Of apple juice in the hall, please tell mum this is not her fault I never conquered, rarely came But tomorrow holds such better days Days when i can still feel alive, when i can't wait to get outside The world was wide, the time goes by The tour is over, i've survived I can't wait till i get home, to pass the time in my room alone 'Adam's Song' Blink 182 |

Bec~ I'm glad to know that my friends in Passions here still care. Anyhoo, I know what you mean by the whole relying on friends and family for making life sociable...
