She came to me in my sleep,
what beauty, what gracious light, that spread from her.
Once i was caught in her stare, her grip was so strong,
she didnt let go, she wouldnt, she couldnt,
like a heavenly body, she drew me closer,
her face so beautiful, Angelic, peaceful and fair,
Tash the most beatiful body known to humen eyes and existance,
only dreamt of, in the dreams of gods.
My body set sail towards her,
guided through waves of love and compassion,
my sails, came to life, from the winds of light she spread,
then, just before we were going to touch,
I fell, drowned in waves, cold and exposed in the wind,
I died.
when i fell in love,
I fell too deep.
for it was a different moment in time

a moment, only in my sleep.

Welcome to the forums, Anon! It's nice to have you here.

This poem was very powerful--especially the phrase "only dreamt of in the dreams of gods". We hope to see more of your work!

But with autumn leaf she perish'd, long time ago..."

"Something sweet, something sort of grandish, sweeps my soul when thou art near..."
