Ok enough of my self pity,
someone kick me in the butt.
Its time to grab my boot straps
and pull myself back up.

Sorry that I put you all
through my depressive trip.
Its time for me to smile
and on my own life get a grip.

I think I’ve spent enough time
feeling sorry for myself.
It hasn’t done me any good
and hasn’t helped my health.

Expect from me some happy poems
I think its about time.
So I will try to integrate
my humor into rhyme.

Brava, glad to hear you're looking for a sunbeam in that stormcloud ... this too shall pass. Chin up!

he he he You silly girl! You know I appreciate you for your humor, (cause you share MY same sick humor) and I also hold you dear when you cry...whatever your mood, just share it with us...you know we're here to hear you no matter what you're mumbling about!! LOL I really liked the positive tone in this though...sometimes it's easier for one to wallow in their sorrow, than to dust themselves off, and I applaude you for your strength to do so!

Hey Lucie, if all you wanted was a swift kick in the pants, all you had to do was ask. I'm always willing to abuse one in such need. Come on, get up so I can knock you back down!! Come on, girl!!

Hooray for you - and hooray for all of us that are able to open up here in the Forums and share our grief, as well as our insanity, then share our trip back to this world's reality!

Well done!

Lucie, great poem! Glad to hear you're going forward. That is difficult sometimes to do. But we can't stay down forever. More power to ya, to move forward. Good luck, may your days be brighter and the sun shine in heart always!

Atta girl, Lucie!! Anyone can wallow. Only special people can get that smile on their face and go forward...and there's never been any doubt that you're one of the special ones..plus the fact that your humor is the best there is. Go for it!!!
