Tomorrow

Tomorrow
the sun shall rise,
and between then
and now
many things
will have occurred,
some happy
and
some sad.
Time will pass,
taking with it
the here and now
and bringing
the dawning of a new day.
If the next sunrise
I do not see,
may you go through this life
carrying with you
the memory of me.
