In the space between moments

0 posted 1999-10-27 09:06 PM

The orchids blaze a quiet fire,
Across softly faded memories.
Images of vibrant life do tire,
Hiding within the greying seas.

Pictures swept with artistic touch,
Painted by the youth of moments past.
Now emerald lands have faded much,
To the wind, wishes are cast.

Bitterness lost to forgotten sands,
The darkness absent with the light.
Blessed silence within angelic hands,
Peaceful blindness within our sight.

The embers of time have become ashes,
Scattered wildly and laid to rest.
We must wait until the tempest passes,
To actually find in us our best.

The key to remembrance is plain,
Although a lesson rarely learned.
Keep with you a part of the pain,
But still find the peace you yearn.

Excellent message as pain is life and provides a contrast to compare pleasure to. Well done, my friend.

Krista~
In archiving I often find a piece that touches me~
This is such a piece~

'The key to remembrance is plain,
Although a lesson rarely learned.
Keep with you a part of the pain,
But still find the peace you yearn.'

How true it is~
