For Sunshine (not the rules but what I am) An Ordinary Man

Not the greatest not the least,
Not a clever better than,
Not an angel or a beast,
Just an ordinary man.

Not a Nero or hero,
Not a clever better than,
Not a Rousseau or whoso,
Just an ordinary man.

Not a thinker or winker,
Not a clever better than,
Not a clinker or drinker,
Just an ordinary man.

Just an ordinary man,
A father and protector,
Not a clever better than,
But never a defector.

Just an ordinary male.
Married to a countervail.
But never ever could I re,
That ideal you think I be.

You are anything but ordinary, Seymour,
you are graced with an ability to move people's emotion and being the "ideal" in someone else's eyes only proves how special and unique you are. Beautiful poem.

I have no idea why this was dedicated to me, but I thank you for showing me, humbly, what you "think" you are, and what the rest of us know you to be - an extra-ordinary person, with much heart and soul. Thank you so very much for sharing yourself with us all.

Sunshine.

P.S. I've since gone back and read "Clime of Time" and saw your message. Thank you for your "list of rules," Dear Sir!
