Wary of ill-fated choices
Hold fast to inner voices wrath
Only those slated to do gallant deeds , lo
Will seek the path of valiant Zulu

In fire of truth face fear denial
Laughter springs from crises passed
Lesser hero's fears exiled , I
Battle fate of haste judgements cast

'Ere await dark minions mob
Klinging doubts thrust far aside
If mere power of thought hath built this realm.
No breach of such will I abide

Grant me the yoke of benevolence ?

Oracles speak of where I follow
Night hides sorrow of deeds un-done , I
Long for the freshest steed on the morrow, still
Yearn victory's cup to swallow from , will...

All foes vanquished from the past
Form ranks with those un-met yet near
One last go with no regrets may
Often shed more than blood or tears ,at...

Light's last waning rays I'll go
As reining days sleep soon forever
Still with-in my heart I've known,Valiant Zulu
Marching ever remaining tall

Even though my worth I cannot prove

Well written Acrostic, thanks for not announcing it in the title it's much better to find out on your own.

( Or to be told later and feel a fool for missing it! I saw the acrostic in this but missed the double by being thrown by the excellent use of the question mark )
.
Well done DOUBLE!

Yes, I admit your general rule. That every poet is a fool:
But I myself may serve to show it. That every fool is not a poet.

Nothing to be reluctant about here, Dr.
Very well done...and I can appreciate the difficulty involved in a piece such as this.

Wow! Am I embarrassed! Me, the lover of acrostics! Me, the one who usually reads down the left side first! And a double no less! I was carried away by the beauty of the text and didn't even notice! What can I say but MOST EXCELLENT!

All men are kings until they lose their kingdoms...but I doubt many are fools..

Craig, Michael, dsnyder, Rainbow,
Thanks for the reviews , I must admit that I am flattered . Having read some of your works makes your comments more meaningful.
And, I'll also admit to not announcing it ,
to see who would pick it up right away.
