This is about a girl that I was in love with at the time. Her last name was Croix (pronounced like "crow")
-----------------------------
The Croix

The hidden diamond I couldn't find.
The angel sat at the table behind the
column with me.
Speaking of life's twisted reveries wrapped inside complexity.
Ready to read the mind's disease,
in a second's ease.

The Croix
The cure.
I'm so unsure.
My faith is gone,
Please right this wrong.
Of this one fragment of dust
Scarring the universe with lust
Alone

We crawl upon this dying sphere
That turns for me only when you're here.
My body's diseased and needs your touch.
My charred heart needs your love so much.
But in the end you'll just laugh,
As you send the death-kiss fast.
