Hold me tight through the night
Hold my dreams in your head
walk through the gates with me
Hold me tight while I cry
Hold my head with your kiss
shed the teardrops with me
Hold me tight during laughter
Hold my thoughts where they are
smile at once, together, no cue
Hold me tight when you go
Hold me closely, forever
never falter in your grasp
Hold me tight as hours pass
Hold my time still with yours
and whenever I ask, Hold me tight
