Crossroads

I sit upon the moonlit shore
And talk to the lapping wave
From the chaos I dig
For answers I can save

The soft wind whispers
Wiping tears from my face
As the darkness falls
To hide me from this place

Now I stand
Looking from another state
Upon myself
Deciding my fate

I understand the feeling. Another great poem, buried too soon in my opinion. Excellent!

I love poems about the seashore and the ocean waves...I love the ocean and you do a great job making me feel like I'm there again. It's the best place to loose yourself in your thoughts....

Even though it's short, I like it, so I wanted to move it back up...I like the topic title even...
