Enjoy the Ride© 8Apr1998 Genea Parker Enjoy the ride you said As you took my hand in yours. My heart beat wildly as – You led me through the door. You’d been on this path before And knew just where to go. I willingly went with you. There was much I didn’t know. Like the price I’d pay For stakes this high. But I knew in my heart I had to give it a try. The ride we took was rocky. The ride we took was long. Never once did I regret That I had come along. You taught me about life And taking all in stride.
