Here are a couple I wrote a while back. Someday, I might try to write some happy ones

Tribute

When I look at the skies
It always brings tears to my eyes
For the skies are filled with the memories of
someone I so dearly loved

And to look upon them brings heartbreak and pain
and a reminder that nothing can be the same
Nothing can bring me the joy we had
And I cannot help but feel so sad

For you always knew how to give me hope
and without that now, I just can't cope
And all the love, and plans we made
are buried too, inside your grave

Regrets

My eyes are open but I cannot see
The evil temptation that is beckoning me
Looking at the past through borrowed eyes
Conjured images telling me lies
Living in a world that tomorrow forgot
Spending time that has not been bought
Believing in everything they do and say
Trying to survive yet another day
But these walls around me they keep closing in
Promising fortune leading to sin
I'm being pulled into a gate
Where blistered hands seal my fate
No one can save me from tales I've been told
Finding the truth has already been sold
No longer apart of who I used to be
This evil temptation keeps beckoning me

Hope you come into happier times!
But your poems are beautifully written, they flow very nicely!

wonderfully written.I really like them a lot-especially the 2nd one-don't know y-it just grabbed my attention~Lily
