The Ocean Air

I felt your approach
as the wind began to blow.
Your scent as distinct
as a frightened skunk.
The earth needs you
myself would rather
have you leave...
Return another day.

The ocean air
is calling me...
Begging for my soul.
The freedom that exists
when one steps upon the sand
elates my heart and mind
to cherish every moment.

The song the ocean sings
removes my daily stress
leaving me...
At ease in a troubled world.

Wish I could send you some Elvira. It's 2 hours from me, so that's why I wished off the rain.

Ocean air sure sounds better than the >100 degree heat wave we are having at the moment!

You know, I can FEEL this, I know exactly what you're saying - it's beautiful! I went to Aruba once and stood on the shore - I have felt your words...it's like an escape, the ocean is... BRAVO!
