This is just something I have been kicking around in my head and I kind of wondered what anyone else might think of it.

I really some of the stuff I have read on this wonderful site.

Lost, but not Forgotten

Once there was a time,

When every sight, seen, brought with it a vision of you.
When every sound, heard, was my name spoken on your lips.
When every breath, taken, carried sweet thoughts of you to my heart.
And I, wrongly, though I would never be sad again.

Now there is a time,

When every sight, seen, a vision ugly for your absence.
When every sound, heard, is another man's name on your lips.
When every breath, taken, brings no sweet relief to my torn heart.
And I, wrongly, think I will never be happy again.

Welcome, Aspire. I like this one, and the flow is nice. I'll be looking for more from you.
