If I could come back to this world one more time,
I'd like to come back as a Greek.
I really don't know what their customs may be.
But they sure do know how to eat.

I wouldn't come back if I came as Chinese.
Although I do like a stir fry.
If I had to eat with two sticks in my hand
I know I would starve, surely die.

I wouldn't come back if I lived in England.
Although I sure like fish and chips.
I heard that they never serve ice in their tea,
and Lord knows I could never do this.

I wouldn't come back to mid Africa
or places that I do not know.
If I haven't checked out the menu they serve,
I'd just have to say I wont go.

If I could come back to this world one more time,
to come back as a Greek would be great.
I may not enjoy every part of my life
but I'd love everything that I ate.

This was a interesting poem. And the name fits. I'm fairly new to this so bear with me
for a moment. You replied to my little girl
lost and I want to tell you some of the poems
I write I make up and others are based on my
life. This one is a part of my life.So when you replied you touched my heart and made me
cry.But I'm older now and I'm over it.But any
way's I just wanted to reply and I'm still not sure how you reply on this thing.Thank you from the bottom of my heart. It means a lot to me. Keep writing.

So does this mean we'll be changing the menu for Thanksgiving?

Who knows, HM3 the turkey may have understood Greek. Let's keep the menu the same.

Christina, just for you;

If I could come back to this world one more time
To dine on rich pasta and stuff
Italians would beg all the Greeks on the isles
to take me cause they'd had enough!

If you came back to the world as a Greek
And I came back Polynese,
You could define the meal of the day
And I would provide calm and ease.

But if we chose not to come back at all
Stay where ever we go
Each day we could ponder each of these
And have whichever we chose.
