Why do I always feel so alone Even when around so many others I still feel like an outsider Different from my sisters and brothers. I thought I was strong and brave Able to handle what life had to give But I never knew the likes of hardships Until they devoured my desire to live. Although some days seem to be better Than thebefore and some to follow It's hard to recognize the natural high When inside I feel dead and hollow. Who would I tell this tale my mood And quite frankly who would really care So I put on my smile for the world to see And hope my loneliness will disappear. |
