Reveal thyself, thou damsal of romance
Thine pulchitrude doth fuel my vassal's quest
Why doth thee hide, from prick of Eros' lance?
Whilst play, Apollo's lute at his behest,
From forth thy lips, thee touch with welkin charms
But in the night, alone in slumber sleep
Doth not thee yearn, the touch of lover's arms
In warm embrace whilst in thy chamber keep?
What pain hast pierced the veil of thy desire?
Caused thee to hide, within stone castle's wall?
Thee speak of love, all court doth feel thy fire,
But thee deny, love's touch when it doth call,
Thy welkin charms, are song without love's dance,
Reveal thyself, thou damsal of romance.

Aye, pain holds thyself hidden within said chamber keep,
Breathless awaiting for thee to call,
Come, release thy burdens of endless weep,
It is I you seek through stone castle wall.
I yearn for said true love's dance.....
Whilst thou release fair damsel of romance?

Lovely poem.....I just couldn't resist.

Harken ye!
Tis oft said a poet can be known
by the poems he doth write!
If tis true, let it be known,
this poet is a kingly Knight!

(Very good, Tim!)

This is an exquisite Shakespearean sonnet, Tim...
You've written it in flawless iambic pentameter, with a perfect abab-cdcd-efef-gg rhyme scheme... and I truly LOVE the message you impart - You do me proud..... 'Tis awesome, indeed!!
