Our World
(Written in 1990)

Together we shared a world very bright
There were rainbows and stars and summer dreams
We told each other it was all so right
Before we entered our labyrinth of screams
The path was so clear, the vision so new
I never dared to think about the end
I forgot about me and thought about you
I thought you loved me, but did you pretend?
Suddenly it dimmed, the path disappeared
We screamed and fought, but I held on so much
And reality became worse than feared
I tried to save us and keep us in touch
But it was no good, we fell apart
And in our old world, there still lays my heart

Let my words fall first upon deaf ears before a closed mind...
