The night - a midnight sky
Was cold and cloud filled.
The air was wet with ice drops
That brought my skin to chill.
The Silence - a beautiful sound
Was calm but broken
By the sounds of a winter night
And brought my mind to rest.
A scream - a soul-less cry
From beyond the hideous night
Painfully scratched my ear
And brought my blood to boil.
The voice - a lost soul
Was somewhere in the night
Lost and afraid -cold and alone
It brough my heart to race.
It was me - the insanity
That calls out in the dark
The pain and the seclusion
It brought my mind to chaos.

The imagery is nipping at my heels, I'd be looking over my shoulder.
