Blue Your eyes At first, They looked at me Long and steady Then, They looked into me Slow and observant Now, They look thru me To my soul To who I am To what I will be They see my fears They see my joy They see the things That I don't want seen Or want to share with the world It was scary The first time I felt it Now, I when you look It's home It's safe Your eyes are trusting Comforting They are the place I wish to be. I want to be, Looking back Into your eyes |
