Is this love lost forever?
Were we meant to be together?
I hope it is to be,
That I love you, and you love me.

I well never know, how you feel for me.
Since I can only, talk to my tree,
About the way I feel for you.
Do you love me, or only I love you?

I beg for the strength to tell this to you,
Cause only then this love well be true.

All I do is wonder, is this love meant to be?
Who is to be the judge of that, I know it’s not me.
For if it was, the answer is simple.
No, this love is not lost.
Yes, this love is meant to be.

Very nice poem Mike. I remember those days!
And I'm glad they're over!! Unrequited love hurts too much! I hope yours is returned!

It hurts so much when you are unable to tell someone just how much you love them!! You showed that here!!

Nice poem!!
