(This was written in a game of poetry tag with Master...a bit of a different poem, but it's very fitting to it's title....thanks Master )

Welcome To My Dreamworld

Can't you hear the motor turning?
Can't you see the candle burning?
Can't you see it's flame?
Can't you hear my poor heart beating?
Can't you see it's life we're cheating?
With ourselves to blame.
Every day the flame gets brighter.
This web we've weaved keeps getting tighter.
Can't you feel the burn?
Can't you hear the morning breathing?
Clouds are turning and receding?
Shrinking sky with every turn.
Are we here, merely dreaming?
Or is passions fire steaming?
Deep within our heart.
Is it the sun that's calmly rising?
Slowly creeping, so surprising?
Natures work of art.
Cast me in this dreamscape longing.
Always here, never belonging.
Tumbling to the end.
Are you here inside my dreams?
Is this reality what it seems ?
Answer me my friend.
