For about a week now when I post a reply to a poem I do not go back to the topic with my reply in place. Instead I go to a blank screen. I must hit the back button twice to go back to the topic and then hit the Open 18 button to go back there and then refresh to see my reply. Is this a problem with my computer or is anyone else experiencing this?

I'm unsure whether this means no one else is having the same problem, Michael, or if it means everyone is just ignoring us again?

Probably the latter, Ron, but I understand. I ignore myself a lot of the time.

I would think it would be a personal computer problem but to have it happen on only one individual website confounds me as to what it could be.

I just selected Todays Topics and was going to reply to the newbie's post (love this way comes) and clicked on it. Instead of getting the poem, I get a white screen..it just hung there....then I closed it.

I went back and tried to access 3 other poems from 'todays topics' and got the same thing. A white screen.

I just went to the DM forum and was going to move the poem linked in Noah's thread, but when I clicked on it, I got nothing..a white screen. The url wasn't even listed in the address line of my browser.

It's sporadic. I could open every thread in Adult from 'todays topics'....but nothing else I tried...thought maybe if I hadn't read the post, that would cause it, but I tried opening the birthday announcement for Chris and it wouldn't open.

This is only from Todays Topics..

I just tried, and had no trouble with either kimie's post from Today's Topics or the link in Noah's post, Sharon. That's with Netscape. Let me try IE …

Nope, that works fine, too.

The first thing I would try doing, Sharon, is rebooting. You could just have trashed memory. I'd try that first just because it's easy, but I doubt that's the problem. The threads in Adult are coming from a CGI program (dynamic), and the others are static pages. It sounds like you have a caching problem. Did anything change recently? Like, uh, your ISP?

Odd....I've reset my cookies but IE won't let me view pages from todays' topics (and now I'm admitting it's MY fault). But I can do it in MSN Explorer....hmmmmm

The cookies won't have anything to do with it. The fact you can get into an Adult thread shows the cookies are good, and still suggests it's a caching problem. Try going to one of the "white pages," then hold down your CTRL key and do a Reload. That should force the browser to at least bypass its own cache. It won't help, though, if your ISP is caching the page for you.

LOL ... now who on earth ... could ignore two of the most wonderful gentlemen I know?

Apparently Nan, Sharon, Karilea and I ... cannot, lol !

(oh, and by the way ... no problems encountered on this end, all appears to come up fine with no glitches from me and my Netscape ....
