Let me begin
Let me begin
Could I please begin,
to say,
with such dismay,
If I could just begin,

Let me open my mouth
and make a pout,
that will get your attention
not to mention,
The tears falling from my eyes
It's no surprise
so let me begin,

My words are spoken in utter disguise,
that's what you said when you made a reply,
again I simply stated, please let me begin.

The words are spoken again and again,
Yet you don't listen,
to the question spoken so often
It left me talking to myself
wandering and thinking out loud,
Let me begin.

If you would listen
to me and not subdue me we could begin and
not end the love we share.
You look at me as if I yelled for no reason at all
why did I cry,and make you feel like you wanted
to leave for no reason .

I guess there's no reason for the tears
no reason for the fears
no reason for my sadness
Oh if you would only let me begin.
