i should like to buy my freedom
how much?
speak up speak up
"when you speak for yourself you have bought
what others could not acquire through money"
what's the price of my choice
being of my own design
what's the price of wisdom
coupled with eternal youth
"will you leave what you love?
turn a blind eye to all others suffering?
pledge yourself to poverty, chastity, and a life comprised of being alone?"
what's the price of revolution
when my liberty's at stake?
freedom of (and from) religion
the capricious ways of a child without
the treachery
"will you dispell the myth of loyalty?
will you kill as indiscriminantly as god?
an epicurean lifestyle to resign yourself to,
yet never truly find pleasure."
freedom is without passion
and captivity without inspiration
a prison cell of comfort
or the bleak reassurance of a desert-life alone
i wish to give away my freedom
one washed with the blood of others
one perfumed by my tears of agony
yet worth nothing to me
if i do
unsuccessfully pursue it

The wise man is the storm prays God,not for safety from danger, but for deliverance from fear.It is the storm within which endangers him,not the storm without.
