she sweats evian water and perfume
knowing this i can only presume
one day they'll look at her remains
and see in her perfection, my disdain
she smokes cigarettes long and thin
their silver ash, her flawless skin
gleam like glitter in a gravel street
she's angelic, anemic, and won't ever eat
her frame is that of a starving child
she disapproves with a manner so mild
she walks around with her clique of clones
does a heart beat beneath her pearly bones
oh she's a mystery, a true intellect
and her kindness i must not neglect
she has the habit of breaking hearts
and to insult the weak, she does her part
just a face with pretty, clean hair
i must say skin pulled tight will tear
so she'll go on as long as she can
a beautiful corpse with a cancer tan
i'll just sit back and won't say a word
for all the apologies i never heard

Hey, great poem. I liked the point it made of how beneath the makeup and image, the "beautiful people" are just as flawed, if not more, than we "Commoners" are.

I have on suggestion. perhaps you could break it up into stanzas, so it will be easier to read.

"Despite all my rage, I am still just a rat in a cage."
