What is this deja-vu dear Lord
When things seem so familiar
As though we've lived it all before
All sense it does bewilder.
Sometimes the past seems to repeat
Itself in clear detail
And 'time' we hold to be so true
Does clearly come derailed.
The future, too, does sometimes dance
Wraithlike 'fore our eyes
Revealing that which is to come
And piercing time's disguise.
Or can it be, my Friend of friends
That all is in the now
And that which feigns all to divide
Is made to take a bow.

I was held captive until I got to the last 2 lines. I was not sure if the refrence was to 'bow out' as an exit or if it was more like an actors bow that shows recognition of the audiences reaction. Sorry I must ask for you interpretation. But I think I will get even more pleasure from the poem by understand the true meaning.

Hi, Lenny. The only problem I had with reading this poem was the use of the "does"es.
All sense it does bewilder
Does clearly come derailed
Does sometime dance

These, added to the "'fore", gives the impression that they are being used to control the syllable count, not that they are an integral part of the poem.
No doubt, the syllable count should be under control, but it should be unnoticable. When the reader can recognize them, the poet has failed. The first 3 lines are ask a question. There should be a question mark at the end of the 3rd line. And, as the previous poster declared, I'm afraid the last lines threw me, too, although life is filled with things that throw me, but, whatever the final thought was, I missed it. Other than that, I enjoyed the poem.
