You were always as a tiny island in the vast sea of my dreams

Shipwrecked, I floated about
in that rolling, turbulent sea
for year after year until finally
washing up upon your warm, sandy shore

You were there waiting all along
Had a single wave been differently placed,
I may have floated by and simply perished
without ever seeing you or knowing you

Who then would know of our heartaches?
Who would love you and I so deeply
and eternally as you and I love one another?

God knows, of all the tragedies
that have ever been in this world,
all that are and all that will be,
there is one less because of His mercy

...you and I Linny honey, you and I

...just bein' Bluesy

This is sooo romantic. It just oozes all that sweet warm mushy stuff that melt women's hearts. I had a vision of Linny at the sea shore being knocked over by a tsunami like wave that is your love for her. Thank you for sharing your special relationship with us.

Thanks for seeing it "my way", Miss Lori.

As romantics exist...'it takes one to know one'.
