Along the eastern seacoast
Lining the rocky shore
Lie the fossils of forgotten life
Still serving up their chores
The gray and misty network
of water cycle needs
Rise upon the grasping air
Like fog within a dream.
The pungent smell of seaweed
Announces the grand source
Where mystic depth delivers
Up treasures for the poor.
The lonley call of sea birds
Carving artistry on wing
Are fed from nature's plenty
Where winds of promise sing.
Fear not those mighty waves
Kissed by the pearl of moon
This the ode to sustenance
For the heart of every tune.

The anthem of the great sea
Baring souls beyond compare
Whispering to all lovers
Like an answer to a prayer.
Because the evening comes
And stars fill up the sky
Tranquility brings the peace
The waves of thunder hide.
Quiet fills the salty air
Reflections warmly glow
Where soft hugs breast to breast
Are better than pure gold.
A little breeze goes sifting
Over the seaside fire
Reminding dreamers time is late
And wakes up life's requires
Back home until another day
When the ocean roar runs high
opening up the doors of night
With keys of new daylight.

The sea becomes you , and speaks to all of us who return to her shores.  There lies a view like none other,  and you wrote that breatheless beauty in all her glory.

Kudos good poet.
