They called to tell me the results of my biopsy. I missed the call. They left a message with a number to call back. Their hours are 8-5, Mon. - Fri. I called back at 4:15. All the nurses had already left. So now I have to wait until Monday. (if they’re open on MLK Day) Otherwise, it will be Tuesday. I would have been fine if I thought the results weren’t back yet. But now that I know it’s there and I missed it…. It is driving me crazy. The hardest part is keeping my fingers off of this enormous hole on the side of my nose. That is really driving me crazy! It doesn’t hurt if left alone. But it does have a sensation that triggers a response to rub it unaware. That can be painful. Now that I’ve had some time to think on it, I’ve decided that it is benign because the nurse called me. When Dennis got the news it was cancer, the Doctor called him. I got this. I’m good to go for the weekend. Remember, like they say- Nose news is good news! LGR©1/13/18 |

My people, glad you could be here. However sure I am that it is benign, it would be nice to have the official word. It is early Sunday morning and so I shouldn't have to wait much longer. (Mon.) I need a straight jacket to keep my hands off my nose! ARGGG! It is driving me. I'm a natural born picker and this is really going against my nature. Well, it's always somethin' ~L |
