As I looked into your eyes tonight baby, only for a moment,
I saw more than enough to tell me that you love me

When I looked into your eyes tonight darling, you looked back into mine,
if only for an instant, and I liked what it was I was seeing

Then you turned your eyes away from mine and told me 'not to look'
afraid perhaps, that I might see too much, maybe more than you wanted me to

But you kept looking back into my eyes, liking what you saw
Unable to look away, knowing that you still wanted me, baby

Lover, when I looked into your eyes, I saw our whole future together,
if only for a brief glimpse, still...it was there nonetheless

Yes, I looked into your soul tonight my angel, if only for a moment,
but still...it was more than enough to tell me that I love you...and that you love me
