stilted rhyme jerks haphazardly
like soldiers marching out of cadence
or calm accosted by tumultuous chaos

passion consumed by practiced perfection
dancing to an impeccable waltz of words
sanitized in sincere superiority

A "dance" known in certain circles, not as a "waltz"...but rather; "The Route Step Rumba". It takes about 150 'out of step' jarheads to get it right.

Your poetry set me to thinkin' about such things, Alison. I don't know whether to thank you or throw something at you!
