"Saturday" With all the political discussion going on Maybe it’s a good idea to take the day off Go to a nice lake and look for a swan Write a poem on it so good you blastoff. (I know blastoff isn’t a verb and didn’t feel like using “blast off”. Enjoy!) |

"blastoff" works for me, Cerulean. It is better as one word than two seperate ones. ~ If they give you ruled paper, write sideways. ~ |

I try my best to keep politics separate from poetry, family and friends too. Anyway, glad the poem made you smile. Thanks for your comment! Edit: forgot to mention... regarding best writing places, you make a good point. It's very important to find your ideal writing place(s) to maximize your imagination's potential.
