I locked the door, hearing its click,
Inside The Hovel I felt good;
Picked up the phone to call a chick,
But in the hall somebody stood.

I shook off the effect of fear,
And I called the girl like I should;
To calm my nerves I had a beer,
Still . . . in the hall somebody stood.

Hmmm!  If you have ghosts for company, as did I, my friend, you've 10 or 12 more years to go before they move along as they should . . .

Beautifully written piece, my friend -- again,  I find myself saying . . . one of your best.

Interesting... very interesting. We never know who could be present outside the physical plane and possibly watching all the things we do!

You got it, Cerulean. Never know what's behind that closed door. Thanks for being here and commenting.
