Slowing down, everyone does at some point. I believe that I however move slower than most. My lack of momentum has me all but going backwards. I seem at times to be mere movements away from rigor mortis setting in. Moss grows on my north side. My skedaddle has a broken paddle. I would have to hurry off in a race with a furry sloth. And molasses runs like rain beside me. I suppose I should summarize and get to the point of all this print. Bring this litany to its logical and lengthy conclusion. Put this pesky poem out of its misery as it dies an agonizingly slow and possibly pointless death. Eventually I will bully the bureaucracy of my soul into forgetting the red tape that boggles the mind of expeditious answers. I shall endeavor to speed up, at some point down the line. But until such time as I do. I’ll be lollygagging around waiting for a long drawn out conversation with you. 7/15/17 |

Sometimes life just reaches out and began to pick on us with a baseball bat, Lori. Unfortunately, this seems to be what is happening with you. The "better" part of life will kick in sooner than later. Keep an eye out for it. ~ If they give you ruled paper, write sideways. ~ |

Lori Lou ~ We all gotta slow down sooner or later! But from what I read in your poetry yours will be much later!!!  Sides'...Sippin' iced tea & rockin' on the front porch doesn't sound to awful bad! lol  Alana |
