I was young and naive but it was true love at least in my eyes it truly was I still remember the late nights talking on instant messenger We would talk about everything We would write poetry together We made some pretty awesome collaborations We even would role play We would battle our pets on Neopets We had so many fun times You were from Canada I was from Florida but we didn't care We knew how we felt When my grandmother passed you called to comfort me When my niece was born that is all we talked about But after 2 years something changed and our relationship had to come to an end It has been 13 years since our love came to an end Yet I still think about you and what could have been I know I shouldn't and I should move on But I wonder if you were the one I keep remembering you I know I shouldn't but I do I don't know what to do Remembering you |

if it's gone, it obviously wasn't the ONE . . . remember it in memory, but don't keep it alive in memory. Give yourself a break. I had a girlfriend in Jr. High and High School - I remember everything about here and would gladly retrace my steps could I go back - But! She's yesterday. I live in Today! She's a pleasant thought - not a dream, or anyone I compare others to. j. |
