I'm day dreaming again
hand on my chin.
Staring out the
classroom window
at the forest
and the orchard
across the street
where I would rather be
than in this seat.
But I am confined
to the classroom
on this lovely spring day.
So...I'm day dreaming again,
following my wild heart
far and away
until a tap on my head
from Mrs. Johnson's pencil
reminds me that...
I'm day dreaming again.
