I have my treasures
they are locked within my heart
they have stayed with me
this long
they are quite enough
to see me through the night
they speak to me
you know
sounding like a inconsiderate
squawk of crows
under an old oak tree
their squawking tells me
things
things which are subsequently
part and parcel
of who I am
really
used to believe
there was no life after death
no heaven
no hell
my treasures have grouped together
‘neath that old oak tree
possessing the spiritual part of moi
who is hidden
within the foliage
human or animal speaking to me
by name I feared
whose face peeks around
that dandelion
beckoning me closer
I listen intently
understood not one word
when I awoke
a faint presence left the room
I have leaned nothing
but have gained
more than I could understand
then and there

An 'epiphany of sorts, or so it seems JerryPat. For a 'thinking species', we've much to learn and so little time given. Is it any wonder then, as some have said, that your entire life can play back to you in a mere moment?

Ah yes, the moment of clarity in ones dreams that fades with our waking. Fret not, it is locked somewhere in your memory as all dreams have their jobs to do within our subconscious. What a very spiritual time for you. May you find much peace ~L.

Thanks Bluesy, lately I have most certainly been having these . . . dramas through my dreams and even after I awake. Its as though my mind has just awoken and began to understand certain things. Thank you for you thoughts.

I believe you are correct, Lori. My dreams connect me to an 'other world, and although it awakes me I am able to translate them further. Never go to bed without paper and pen close by.
