          Memories

These years are fastly passing by.                  Some days I smile, some days I cry

Remembering all friendships made.
This day my thoughts of others...weighed.

And so the tree set up today
Wears homemade memories with words of play...

From Jerry Pat, Amaryllis 2,
Krawdad, Mushy Marsha, Nightshade...a few.

And Margherita, whose words of old
Today held warmth from past once told.

Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and Wishes for a Wonderful New Year to All.

MM (Maureen)

p.s.I love my quilted poem tree!

"Love is not blind - It sees more and not less, but because it sees more, it is willing to see less."
(Will Moss)

Yeah, my friend --- makes perfectly true sense.
different times these are and memories at least lend some sense to part of the reality. And good or bad, we've all had our share, the past is "us", for the most part, today.

Miss seeing you around . . .

J.

JW...I substitute teach as a Team teacher for meetings and am so exhausted by the end of each day that all I want to do is stretch out and forget about technogical devices since we are on them all day. I miss posting but do occasionally read. Have a great holiday. M

Sky, 5 years ago I had poet friends send me a holiday poem that I wrote on mini quilts that I made to hang on my handmade ornament tree. By chance, this was the first container that I opened this year and decided to bring back some memories. Thanks for reading. M

Maureen...So glad too read your wonderful poetry once again. I thought like so many others you had lost your way back to Passions.
You are truly one of the great treasures this place has...Paul

Paul, you brought tears to my eyes. pipTalk
was such an important part of my life for so many years, making and meeting so many poet friends when life had been hard.I miss so many who are no longer with us but also glad that we still have this site to come back to.

Hi Maureen. So nice to see you here again. I have many of the same feelings and dearly miss so many of the old poets.
