Blowing In The Wind

It's beauty in motion to watch a tree blowing
as the wind moves thousands of leaves to life,
the branches joining in, moving up and down,
side to side, supporting all those leaves
and taking them for a motion ride,
as the smaller branches go along for the ride,
the main trunk gives some to the force of the wind
and the leaves blow like crazy never wanting to end;
that wind testing the strength of the tree
standing strong and proud in the winds intensity,
absorbing also all the heat and the rain
and when workmen trim its branches it feels no pain,
yet a hurricane or extreme weather condition
can upset that tree and take it to tree heaven,
and so a tree with no thought for tomorrow
becomes firewood or building materials.
