I dreampt of you last night, And though my bed was empty, As though you were there, Wrapped in my arms, The weight of your head on my chest, Your arm crossed my body, Your leg crossed mine, You raised your head, Your crystal blue eyes locked to mine, Your breath caressed my neck, The scent of your essence filled me, your body pressed into mine, Your moist warmth permeated me, As one our lips met, The taste of you overtook me, I felt us blend as we moved, I felt the world fade around us, As I awoke I felt the world creep back in, I felt the tears come with the reality, I am missing you,,, |

I can completely relate, SS. It is a heartbreaking reality coming out of a dream such as you described only to find yourself quite alone. ~*~ If they give you lined paper, write sideways. ~*~ |

fine 'Romantic' write! ... (I was particularly glad to see it done without rhyme!) |

I know this feeling...no matter the reason(s) love ends, it hurts. Writing it all does help, at least a bit. Beautifully written even if incredibly sad... "If you can dream it, you can achieve it" |

true love never ends, i like to think the pain is there to remind us that something so special is real and does exist. that love will always be yours. |
