Beth Yesterday as my fingers flitted and flew through papers, and a glance through the window showed only gray skies… Music in the background overwhelmed me… a scent came from nowhere, and my Grandmother Elizabeth was just there. Just beside me No deep message but only I felt my tears fall under the suddenness of a memory just there…. My throat thickened with emotion and salty tears stung my eyes, glistened my lips and I sat, holding my breath thinking… I love you, too. © krj 4-14-14 |
