If I were more of a poet
I would have gazed at the stars...
But alas! As it were
Her moonlit face
Drew my gaze away
From that celestial beauty
To the one much closer --
And I -- breathless --
Admitted
That in that reflection
The stars
Had found a perfect host.

I couldn't agree with Lori more. This is a tender moment in poetry.

Looking isn't always seeing and seeing isn't always looking. Like hearing and listening, beauty is where you find it. Warm and refreshing poetry.

Loving Linny Jean is poetry.
