Do you remember,
when I told you about the whitethroat's nest?
The one I found in the nettles,
in the wood that is no longer there?
You loved me then, and I loved you.
Whitethroats don't live forever,
beautiful as their nests might be.
Neither did we. Sad, so very sad.
