Do you remember,
when I told you about the whitethroat's nest?
The one I found in the nettles,
in the wood that is no longer there?
You loved me then, and I loved you.
Whitethroats don't live forever,
beautiful as their nests might be.
Neither did we. Sad, so very sad.

Just Nature reclaiming all in its time. Sometimes we're around to see a little of it, sometimes not...which makes us part of it.
