Fair to middlin' of nowhere

The mind binds in a web spun
of delicate drowsy.
Eyelids laden with the weight of
slumber’s kiss;
slowly drooping,
gently dropping,
flutter shutting.
Muscles melting into rubber,
stretching long and yawning
into oblivion.
Deeply breathing in unawareness,
the sweet scent of unconsciousness.
Sounds subside into silent seeds of dreams.

You are continuing to come up with very classic poetry, which really gives the reader a sense of being in the feeling of being in the presence of an absolute fine mind . . .

Thanks Jerry! Things have been pretty slow at work and I have been having a terrible time feeling sleepy and trying to stay awake.
I'm always looking for things to do, so I decided to write about it. ~L

And it was certainly a deep, even dark, write. I was quite taken with it, so much so that I was gritting my teeth and saying to myself that I wish I could write like that.
