To view my future
She looked at my palm and read
It was the dark of night

"What cannot be seen
Has no need of being seen
Nor will it matter"

"Safety in darkness
Is to become the darkness
Comfortably bred"

"Trails of tear-stained words
Leading you so far astray
From intended loves"

Spanning the darkness
I search for a softer palm
To place in my own

So the nights go by
As the wind on my back shifts
Along with my thoughts

Until once again
Darkness embraces me here
In her crystal ball

Here's to you and here's to me and should we ever disagree, here's to me!

Psychics are fun until the predictions start coming true... The sadness here hurts my heart. ~L

I visited one fortune teller back in the sixties, because it seemed the thing to do. Her predictions were so dark I never went back to her or any other fortune teller. The worse part of it what she said to me pretty much came true.
