vivid blue skies
so brilliant I have to close my eyes
but not for long
not a depressing cloud to be seen
birds are hoping here and there
chirping their chirps
weather to be in the high seventies today
the smiles on people’s faces reflect
this happy event
has been a long, cold winter
even down here in the swamp
my thoughts have lifted
the dark is gone
I’m not dancing in the street
but I am
tapping time with my feet

An introspective write that seems to deal with seasonal pain and pleasures. No doubt, warming as a form of medication can soothe the most savage of brows.
It beats prozac hands down.

Nothing like a nice day after months of cold wet and gloom to make you feel like a new person!  Bring on the warm!
