Leave it to me If you can't get the static out Then learn to live with the cling There's just not enough time If you're going to get it done Daytime is for thinking of how Nighttime is for thinking of who The 'when' will take care of itself Concern me not with a frivolous 'why' You don't get this at Tech Schools Its just something you 'pick up' The press keeps the public occupied with theories and conjecture Don't you know they act and write just as though they were your friend? They give you space and fill you in While its you who fills in the blanks Was it a woman or a man? And what about a 'calling card'? You must leave one of those with Ida Blank of course... Just leave it to me I'll get back to you Here's to you and here's to me and should we ever disagree, here's to me! |
