Leonid In Flight

Observe Brother Bear,
God's own arrow points the way:
Moon moves from its path

~  ~  ~

Your arrow flies
between brother and sister moon
and into the mists
I seek the end of its fall

Hear my song
oh God of life,
Let it end
my suffering soul . . .

I come, my husband,
I come,
my heart bared
to the arrows prick.

haunting in an ethereal, enthralling way

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.
